For Sale - 2000 Dutchmen 23 ft Express Class C Motorhome

This 2000 Dutchmen 23 J Express is only 24 ft. overall length and is a breeze to drive and park . Full fiberglass exterior , trailer hitch, and hydraulic slide out with awning topper. Tires look almost new, Built on a Super Duty E-450 Ford Chassis with the wider wheelbase for greater driving stability and less sway, The engine is a powerful 6.8 liter Triton V-10 with 305 Horsepower and 420 lb / ft of torque. Only 46,500 miles The power plant is a Onan Micro lite 4 kw RV generator with 560 hours on it . Purchased new in Tennessee and has been a southeastern motor home its entire life!

The interior is very clean. No smoke or pet odors. Upholstery and carpet look very good for being 15 years old. Everything works. The front cab has power windows and locks, stereo, cold dash air, above the cab is a queen bed, behind the cab is a pull out sleeper sofa in the slide area, table booth makes a bed, ice cold roof air, ducted furnace, water heater, three-mode refrigerator (ac, gas, or auto), microwave, three-burner stove, oven in the rear kitchen. Corner bathroom with skylight and separate shower. This RV sleeps 6 and very comfortable for a family of four.

Outside is large patio awning, two 120V ac outlets, and two storage compartments. Includes vinyl windshield privacy cover. Exterior looks very good with only the vinyl stripes starting to get chipped and faded. I recently replaced the door latch to the camper (the old ones were prone to breakage; replaced with improved new design) and the fuel tank vent hose that had rotted. I also made a custom seat frame for the dinette that allows for storage underneath as you enter the camper -- very convenient. I also just bought a new sewage hose, which is included.

The roof developed a leak over the winter, so I just had all of the roof vents re-sealed with new dome lid covers and a complete new roof coating on 4/20/2015. The roof repairs and coating was professionally done by G&G Mobile RV Repair and Maintenance on Signal Mountain, TN at a cost of $1,179.90. There is some rot in the wood in the ceiling of the bathroom, but now that the roof has been completely redone, there shouldn't be any more trouble for the next few years at least. I also bought a brand-new battery in April 2015. I will provide all receipts of ownership and maintenance to you.

I want to sell it now because my teenage daughters aren't interested in camping anymore :-( . Only $19,900. Call Kurt at 256-997-6971. I am not interested in getting any help to sell it. RV is in Chattanooga. It's in great driving condition -- you can drive it across the country tomorrow without a worry. Includes ALL paperwork and documents for the appliances, etc. You can also email me at kurt@lammon.com.

I have the motorhome listed on Craigslist, too, but I have put ALL of the photos I have on the RV here for a more complete resource. Sorry that some of the photos are sideways!

All the photos on this page are cropped to 150 pixels wide. If you want to see some REALLY BIG PHOTOS, click here!
